Abigail Lucinda Berg-Swope passed away at her Winnemucca home on May 8, 2013, at the age of 47. She was the daughter of Harry and Nellie Thompson of Ely, Nev., and lived in various areas around the local mountains before locating in Winnemucca. She attended White Pine High School in Ely, Nev. Abigail dedicated her adult life to her family and enjoyed spending time with them camping and other family activities with her daughter Deidra. She attended Saint Paul's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Swope and daughter Deidra of Nevada; brothers Jimmy Walker of Round Mountain, Nev., Karl Thompson of Winnemucca; sisters Dorris Vanzee of Californi, Nancy Dixon of California, Martelle Adams of Arizona and Judy Thompson of Idaho; also numerous sister-in-laws, brothers-in-laws and nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Thompson, mother Nellise Thompson, brother Harry Gorden Thompson and niece Pattie Jo Peterson.
There will be a memorial service at Albertson Funeral Home, 47 W. First St, in Winnemucca, on Friday, May 24, 2013, at noon followed by inurnment at Winnemucca Cemetery.[[In-content Ad]]
