Congress has become an institution not to serve the people but to get re-elected. It's no longer what is good for America it's what is good for the Representative or Senator. Even the people that vote for these (people) aren't able to see how their (sic) being used by those they elect. Long term employment and the riches that await them are all they care about. Those that do go to Washington to actually work to get something done don't last long. That's because you can't get anything done if those around you aren't willing to do the job they were elected to do. So until voters stop electing people who think as our alleged representatives do and vote for people whose goal is to think about country first, we are in deep trouble.
We urgently need Term Limits for the Congress of the United States. Back to Citizen Legislators.
