Dear Children (and children at heart) of northern Nevada,
It is November already and the elves are putting in some long hours getting the toys ready for Christmas delivery! Just a little over a month and Santa's big night arrives! Santa's helpers are out in force and I can feel the excitement in the air! Santa and I have had many requests for public appearances, and as we are especially fond of your area of Nevada, we will be coming to visit as often as we are able!
Every time I visit, Santa and I get so many questions and though we want to be able to answer each and every one of you, my visits are never long enough and I always seem to run out of time. This has really bothered me, so I went to my elves and told them my problem. The elves got this great idea about how to handle this and sent me to Winnemucca Publishing for a solution. My elves decided that people needed a place to send questions so they opened an e-mail address for me where all the questions would gather. It is askmrsclaus@gmail.com.
Please feel free to e-mail me any question that you have about Santa, Santa's helpers, the elves, the reindeer, our home at the North Pole or even about me, I will do my very best to answer them. I will be writing two columns in your local paper and your wonderful editor has agreed to publish some of your questions and the answers (so do not forget to put your first and last names and the town that you are from) in the paper. We think this is important because some children are shy and want the answers to the same questions, but do not have the courage to ask.
For those that e-mail me a question, I will try to e-mail you back as fast as my schedule allows. With all my visits this time of year it can get a little hectic, but I promise to write back! For those of you that do not have access to e-mail, please send your written letters to Mr. Gouger at Winnemucca Publishing. He has a direct line to the North Pole and will get your letters to me! Just remember to include a return address, so I can reply!
Remember each one of you is very precious to Santa and me. We are sending you wishes for sweet dreams and hope for living the wonder of this special season!
