$600,000 available for projects

RENO - The Great Basin Landscape Conservation Cooperative (GBLCC) has $600,000 in funding available to support Science and Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) projects in 2014. Up to $450,000 is available for science projects and $150,000 for TEK projects. Applications are due July 29 by 1 p.m. Pacific Time.

The Great Basin LCC's FY 14 science funding announcement has been posted on grants.gov (search for Opportunity #F14AS00242) as well as www.greatbasinlcc.org. The Great Basin Landscape Conservation Cooperative is one of 22 LCCs nationwide established by the Department of the Interior to better integrate science and management to address climate change and related issues.
