3 Guys win 2015 Don Peters Memorial Tournament

3 Guys won the 2015 Don Peters Memorial Tournament held this past weekend at Spare Time Bowl.

The Winnemucca Inn provided $2,800 in prize money and Winners Inn contributed $1,000. Nearly 110 bowlers, with a number of them from out of town. A total of $13,000 in prize money was awarded.

3 Guys won the top prize of $3,000 and team members included Shawn Horneberger, Chris Knudsen, Jacob Dobkins.

Reno Big Dogs (Kyle Klein, Fred Church and Kevin Foley) finished second and earned $2,500. Air Medic (Roland Montoya, Cindy Cornelison, Todd Thompson) placed third and won $2,000. Christy's Crew (Ricky Kuster, Geoff Wenzl, Dave Christy) were fourth and won $1,200.

Foley's Pro Shop (Ryan Foley, Pat Foley, Jr., Pat Foley Sr.) placed fifth, and Seahawks (Ray Ward, Allan Ward, Matt Morgan) were sixth.

Dirty Dawgs (Manny Demillo, Roger Vershum, John Vershum) placed seventh and Who Cares (Greg Turney, Ed Hunt, Josh Groves) finished in eighth.

The high team game went to Mucca Boys (Julio Martin, Dave Wilson, Bruce Haylett) with a 757 series. Mike Fennell and Cesar Rojas had the high individual game, with a 300. The high average out of the money went to Jeff Jensen at 230.92. Dan Specchio had the high individual points won/out of the money with 22.
