The Battle Mountain High School softball team knocked off Pershing County 8-5 to win the Northern 2A Regional Championship this past weekend in Lovelock. Battle Mountain opens the state tournament on Thursday in Reno against White Pine.
The Battle Mountain High School softball team is headed back to the state tournament for the first time since 2015 after knocking off its rival in the Northern 2A Regional Championships in Lovelock this past weekend.
