In the case of Shuya Lyu, charged with aggressive driving: DDA Mike Macdonald amended charges with fine amount to stay as is. Defendant agreed to pay in full within 30 days and outstanding warrant has been recalled.

 

March 2

In the case of Cody Creekmore, charged with child abuse, neglect, or endangerment: pursuant to negotiation, the DDA Stephen Girardot motioned to dismiss the case without objection from defense, the court accepted the motion.



In the case of Jose Manuel Figueroa, charged with duty to stop at scene of crash involving damage to vehicle or property: fined $1,140 with $1,000 suspended for a period of 1 year on the condition of no new like violations and that restitution in the associated case be paid. The remaining $140 is to be paid once the first $500 of restitution is satisfied.



In the case of Robert Ketner, charged with battery: defendant pleaded guilty to amended complaint and was fined $640 with $450 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. The remaining $190 is to be paid in monthly payments of $50 beginning April 2, 2023, 60 days suspended 18 months on the condition of no new like violations, that he continue counseling, and no firearms for a period of 3 months. A review hearing is set for June 8, 2023 at 9:15a.m.
