Good news continues to roll in for the PCHS softball program. They were recently notified that five players made the all-state team.

Aaliyah Allen, Taylor Garland and Kaylen Halverson are on the 1st Team. Mady Grenz and Anna Happy are on the second team.

Allen catches for the Mustangs. She has just completed her sophomore year. Garland, Grenz, and Happy begin their senior years this fall. Halverson graduated last week.

Garland pitches while Grenz plays first base and Happy shortstops. Halverson played third base.

The Mustangs finished up 27-6, overall, and 18-0 in the 2A Northern League.

"They are a tough team and next year will be their year," predicts Jordan McKinney, the 2A Coach of the Year.

Spirit squad coach Cece Hanley recognized the team's achievements with a sweet reward. She made cookies shaped like softballs and decorated them with each girl's name and jersey number.
