With a great and historic connection to Winnemucca and Humboldt County, Grammar School students are keeping with tradition and adding even more this year!
This year, our multi-talented Grammar School students participated in the coloring contest and also entered the gardening youth division with a cabbage that they planted last spring. Mrs. Riemersma’s third grade class from 2016-17 school year, chose the very best one out of the seven that made it through a tough northern Nevada summer.
In addition, WGS Counselor Mrs. Evatz’s Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Ambassador group planted sunflowers and showcased their skills in the floral category. For Winnemucca Grammar School, being part of the community and having the community be part of our school is an integral part of who we are as Winnemucca Grammar School Frogs.
From our WGS Parent Teacher Organization to Grandma’s for the Grammar, our students and staff are fully committed to being part of our community. Come on down to the fair this weekend and see the great things happening at Winnemucca Grammar School.
