Deandre Chaney, 23, is reportedly on the loose following an attack on his former girlfriend and two children. He was last seen wearing black pants, white tank top, and carrying a backpack.
Reports on social media from Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) and Winnemucca Police Department (WPD) state that Chaney may have shaved his head. He has a large tattoo on his forearm that reads “GARDEN”. Chaney is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds.
A report from CBS Sacramento alleges that Chaney beat his girlfriend and her children, 7 and 8 years old, with a hammer, leaving them with major injuries. He then reportedly stole the woman’s car, which was later found. WPD called Chaney a “suspect wanted in connection to a California homicide case.”
According to a social media post from WPD, "Nevada Division of Investigations, Nevads Highway Patrol and Bureau of Indian Affairs are teamed up and out in force” in addition to WPD and HCSO.
