Gwendolyn Mowry Casias, 61, of Imlay, NV passed away at Renown Medical Center in Reno, NV on July 16, 2016with her family by her side.
Gwendolyn was born on October 2, 1954 Thomas and Regena Mowry in Chicago, IL. At age 19 she moved from Illinois to Nevada where she lived in Elko, Henderson, and Winnemucca and finally settled in Imlay where she lived with her family for thirty seven years.
She worked for nine years at the TA truck stop as a cashier until her health would no longer allow. She enjoyed swimming, fishing, four wheeling and anything that would keep her out with nature.
Gwendolyn is survived by her husband Christopher Casias, her sons Chad Mowry and Thomas Christopher (TC) Mowry Casias her grandchildren Isabella, Samuel and Jayden; her father Thomas Edison Mowry, sister Karen Gortz and brother Larry Mowry. There are also many adopted family and friends and she will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother Regena Powell Mowry and her granddaughter Regina Mowry-Casias.
