OHV partners host first fair

The first Off-Highway Vehicle Fair was Saturday, Oct. 10. The event will be a recurring one held by the partnership of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and the Nevada Outdoor School (NOS). The fair is a way to educate the public on the laws regarding the registration, licensing and operation of OHVs and ATVs. The fair provided free VIN inspections, skills courses and information useful for ATV and OHV owners. The event was free and will continue to be free as part of the grant the sheriff’s office received for the OHV Fair. The next fair is planned for sometime in the spring, report sheriff office officials.
