The Denio Library kicked off its summer reading program, "Dig Into Reading," on May 29. Each Wednesday at 2 p.m. children meet in the Denio Community Hall for an afternoon of themed activities. On June 5, the theme centered on everything Egypt. Activities start with a storytime. For crafts, the children made name cartouches and colored shabtis bookmarks. Games of "Walk like an Egyptian" Mummy Race, Balloon Race, Tug of War and a prize walk were followed by snacks.
